Chef X Café is a welcoming variety and fast dining café known locally for its amazing, unique flavours and truly addictive comfort food.
Everything is served in a friendly, modern setting that quickly turns customers into fans, and fans into advocates.
The brand was established in 2021 when the founder, Chef X, began cooking from his home kitchen in Coventry. After experimenting with comforting yet bold flavour combinations, a clear and compelling menu started to form. His homemade Monsta Muffins and signature Chai became instant favourites among friends and neighbours.
With two Uber Eats Awards under their belt — ‘Restaurant of the Year Finalist 2025’ and ‘Social Impact Award Finalist 2025’ — and having worked with Coventry City Football Club, Chef X Café is on the rise, and there has never been a better time to get involved.

Financial Overview:
- Initial Franchise Fee: £20,000 + VAT
- Average Total Set-Up Cost: £100,000–£120,000 + VAT (including fit-out and equipment, depending on size)
- Ongoing Fees:
- Royalty Fee: 5% + VAT of gross sales (weekly)
- Marketing Fee: 1% + VAT (weekly)
- Recommended Working Capital: £30,000 + VAT recommended for the first three months
- A Key Person must dedicate full-time attention to the business
